Amanda McHardy is a July baby with an affinity for gold hoops, gift giving, + sequels (because sometimes the sequel is actually better than the original!). In her free time, she can be found either collaging, engaging in movie discourse (has anyone seen Challengers?), or planning her next hair cut.
Amanda is partial to the Oxford comma, waffles (v. pancakes, but French toast over both), tequila (v. vodka), + applying copious amounts of lipgloss.

Amanda McHardy graduated in 2023 from The Corcoran School of the Arts + Design at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photojournalism and a double minor in Art History + Fine Arts.
Amanda has displayed her work in 4 exhibitions + has published her work in 6 publications. She has also assisted in the curation +/or installation of 3 separate exhibitions.
In December 2022, Amanda became the Co-Founder of Stupid Idiot Press. Since then, she has co-produced + published 3 publications under the imprint, one of which reached over 140 artists + published 45.
Amanda's personal work revolves heavily around the documentation of her friends, family, + her overall life. She finds inspiration in the tiny (mundane + relatable) details of everyday life — as well as the 'once-in-a-lifetime, momentous occasions. Her work is a beautiful portrait of + dedication to the ups, downs, + in betweens of growing up.
